Shane Studdard and his wife, Robin, live in Gainesville, Texas. They have four daughters, all married, and four incredible grandchildren. Shane graduated from Gilmer High School, has an Associates of Arts in music from Kilgore College, a Bachelor of Music Education from Baylor University, and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Shane is Professor of Music and Director of Vocal Studies for North Central Texas College. He teaches Applied and Class Piano, Applied Voice, Music Appreciation, Sight Singing and Ear Training, and directs The North Central Texas College Singers. Other responsibilities at NCTC have included serving as Musical Director for the Broadway productions the school produces. One of Shane’s great passions is church music, and he has served as a Church Musician for over 30 years, part-time and full-time in churches large and small, in Texas, Tennessee and Louisiana. He is currently Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Gainesville, Texas. Shane has had the opportunity to lead Music Workshops and Choral Seminars in North America, Korea, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England and Italy. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the Music Educators National Convention, and the Texas Music Educators Association.
